A HeronPay, a Brazilian startup specializing in payment intelligence and management, is one of the 32 startups featured in the Fintech Lounge at Febraban Tech 2025, the premier technology and innovation event for the financial sector in Latin America, taking place from June 10 to 12 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. Under the theme “The Acceleration of the Financial Sector in the Age of Intelligence,” the event brings together leading banking executives, fintechs, technology companies, and regulators to discuss the future of digital transformation in the industry.
During the event, HeronPay will showcase its groundbreaking payment intelligence platform, which combines fraud and scam prevention, expense management, and real-time controls. The platform integrates various payment credentials, such as cards, PIX, digital wallets, tokens, and tags, offering bank customers greater control and customization over their payment methods. The platform allows customers to set specific rules by merchant category—such as pharmacies, gas stations, gambling, and restaurants—as well as by time frame, spending limit, geolocation, and planned future events, with the ability to activate or modify settings with a single click or voice command.
Targeted at banks, fintechs, and financial institutions, HeronPay provides enriched and structured data even before transaction authorization, enabling automated decisions, intelligent blocks, and preventive action against fraud, including cases of misuse by third parties such as family members or employees.
