From May 21 to 23, 2025, Expocentro Júlio Tedesco will become the main hub of national logistics for discussing the future of international trade. The Global Trade Summit 2025, organized by the Foreign Trade Center (NCE) of the Business Association of Itajaí (ACII), will bring together leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts from around the world. The goal is to explore new routes and strengthen international connections.
With an expected attendance of 1,200 participants, the event promises three intense days of debates, networking, and learning about the latest industry trends. Paula Machado, coordinator of the NCE at ACII, highlights the choice of Balneário Camboriú as the host city, emphasizing the infrastructure of Expocentro Julio Tedesco, which offers comfort and convenience for participants during the over 28 hours of scheduled content. “We searched for a space that would provide comfort and a complete experience for participants, with adequate facilities for the three-day event and its over 28 hours of content,” explains Paula Machado.
The main objective of the Global Trade Summit is to drive knowledge, growth, and opportunities in foreign trade, logistics, and supply chain. The event aims to foster discussions on innovative ideas, deepen concepts, and update participants on strategic trends and knowledge in the sector. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen collaboration between companies in the foreign trade and logistics chain, both nationally and regionally.
The event’s target audience includes companies and professionals working in foreign trade, logistics, and supply chain, both from Santa Catarina and other regions of Brazil. “The Global Trade Summit offers robust and specific technical content, attracting everyone from decision-makers to operational professionals. The presence of industry leaders, so-called C-levels (decision-makers), ensures a networking and learning environment with the top exponents of national foreign trade,” details Paula Machado.
The event will address the most relevant topics of the moment, including debates on logistic issues in Santa Catarina, such as port and airport logistics, new foreign trade legislation with the participation of representatives from the Federal Revenue Service, and challenges like Detention and Demurrage costs. Additionally, the event will feature discussions on balancing the high performance demanded by foreign trade with quality of life, and the importance of networking for career development.
The Global Trade Summit infrastructure will include a Main Stage, where creators of major import and export processes, members of renowned institutions in Brazil and worldwide, and popular guests from the business scene in Santa Catarina and Brazil will share their experiences and insights.
