During the first edition of the Brazil Publisher Awards, held on December 2, two special awards highlighted excellence initiatives in the publishing market and digital communication.
The ‘Vanguard of the Publishing Market’ Trophy was awarded to the website eCycle, recognized for its pioneering and inspiring work in incorporating innovation and environmental responsibility into editorial production. The portal has become a reference by bringing sustainability issues to the center of the digital agenda, promoting transformation and awareness.
“Receiving the Vanguard Award in the Publishing Market at the Brazil Publisher Awards 2024 is an honor that transcends individual recognition. This achievement reflects our team’s commitment to inspiring positive change through digital journalism that combines quality, ethics, and real impact on the sustainability agenda,” comments Onofre de Araujo, publisher of the eCycle portal.
For him, the tribute reaffirms that the company is on the right path by offering content that not only informs but also engages and transforms.
“We deeply thank the award organizers for the initiative to value those who dare to think ahead and share stories that shape a more sustainable future. We continue with the mission to amplify these voices and strengthen the role of online content as a catalyst for change,” concludes Onofre.
Meanwhile, the ‘Excellence and Impact’ Trophy was awarded to the website Tudo Rádio, in honor of its exceptional commitment to broadcasting and communication. The portal stood out for connecting people and offering high-quality content, consolidating its relevance in a sector essential to society.
“It’s an achievement that fills us with pride, in addition to carrying several symbolisms. It comes precisely in the year we celebrate 20 years of operation as tudoradio.com, laying the groundwork for important innovations starting in 2025. The award received by our platform at the Brazil Publisher Awards demonstrates how digital is a natural path for radio. These are sectors that blend, and the presence of portals linked to mass media among the winners in various categories reinforces this characteristic of media convergence,” highlighted Daniel Starck, journalist, entrepreneur, and owner of tudoradio.com.
For Riadis Dornelles, vice-president of the National Association of Brazilian Publishers – ANPB, the event organizer, these awards reaffirm the Brazil Publisher Awards’ commitment to valuing projects that go beyond technical innovation, promoting significant and inspiring changes in the Brazilian digital landscape.
