The AutomationEdge User Conference 2025, the largest gathering of the community AutomationEdge, a provider of Hyperautomation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and IT Automation solutions in Brazil, was held this Thursday in an innovative and interactive format. Broadcast live directly from Digicast Studio in Curitiba, the event adopted a podcast format and was hosted by journalist Iara Maggioni alongside Fernando Baldin, LATAM country manager of AutomationEdge.
With the goal of promoting the exchange of practical experiences and expanding knowledge about hyperautomation, RPA, and IT automation, the event brought together experts and leaders from public and private companies at the forefront of digital transformation in the country. Among the guests were professionals from Caixa Econômica Federal, MaxiPas, Unimed Santa Catarina, Grupo Autus, Thales, Quality Digital, and Cosmo System, as well as representatives from AutomationEdge itself.
“Automation is no longer a choice; it’s a strategic necessity to scale businesses, ensure operational efficiency, and, above all, unleash the human potential of teams. Our conference reflects this movement,” commented Baldin.
Through eight dynamic interviews, the guests shared insights about their professional journeys, ongoing and completed automation projects, challenges faced, best practices, and emerging trends, such as the combination of RPA with artificial intelligence (AI).
In the first interview, João Paulo da Silva, Digital Transformation Manager at Thales, discussed the concrete impacts of AI on the industry, highlighting use cases and the expected competencies of future professionals.
In the second round, Henrique Botelho, Automation CoE Lead, and Fábio Tanaka, Automation Specialist, both from Caixa Econômica Federal, addressed the growth of the bank’s Automation Center of Excellence (CoE), detailing operational RPA processes and observed gains.
Kamila Borges, Director of MaxiPas Criciúma, and Tony Hass, IT Coordinator at Unimed SC Group, in the third conversation, highlighted the unique aspects of their adopted solutions compared to the market, as well as the investments and strategic vision of both institutions.
In a remote format, the fourth interview featured Zandra Queiroz, IT Coordinator at Grupo Autus, who spoke about her journey, the challenges women face in IT, and the paths to successful automation with a focus on governance and project management.
AutomationEdge’s Head of Presales, Rosni Neto, participated in the fifth interview to discuss use cases and the relationship with automated systems.
Next, Jefferson Xavier, Service Desk Manager at Quality Digital, explored the impact of traceability in automated processes and the importance of developing technical skills in IT teams.
In the penultimate round, Wagner Titon, CEO, and Felipe Nascimento, Head of Business at Cosmo System, discussed the synergy between RPA and AI, new products, and technological advancements applied to different industries.
To close the program, Rosni Neto participated once again, this time alongside Lucas Galvam, Support Analyst & CX AutomationEdge, in a discussion aimed at beginners in the field, offering practical tips for training and entering the world of RPA.
Beyond high-level technical content, the event provided an interactive experience with audience participation through questions and comments sent during the broadcast. Attendees who registered via Sympla also had the chance to win exclusive promotions and giveaways.
“We want to build an active and engaged community where knowledge flows, questions find answers, and people feel part of the transformation. This is the mission of the User Conference and what drives us to keep evolving every year,” emphasized Baldin.
The AutomationEdge User Conference 2025 solidified itself as a strategic space to strengthen the automation ecosystem in Brazil, fostering integration between technology, processes, and people, while outlining concrete paths for sustainable digital transformation.
