Amazon Brasil, in a strategic partnership with Sebrae, will host a free webinar on August 15th, from 5 PM to 7 PM (BRT), aimed at promoting the digitalization and expansion of Brazilian SMEs. The event will provide knowledge about accessing the digital market and logistical solutions for businesses looking to expand their operations through Amazon’s marketplace.
This initiative coincides with a major expansion of the FBA – Fulfillment by Amazon program, which aims to optimize delivery times and enhance logistics management for partner sellers. By the end of 2025, FBA will be available in Distribution Centers in Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará. Additionally, starting in August of this year, the distribution center in Nova Santa Rita (RS), which has been operating the program since 2024, will also serve sellers from Santa Catarina and Paraná. With this expansion, partner sellers (Regular or Simples Nacional regimes) from these regions can send their products directly to these centers, delegating all logistical operations to Amazon.
“Our goal is to be the best partner for Brazilian entrepreneurs and SMEs. With the expansion of FBA and initiatives like the webinar with Sebrae, we are providing the tools and knowledge necessary for these entrepreneurs to digitize their businesses, reach new markets, and thrive on Amazon’s marketplace. This is how Amazon invests in the success of small and medium-sized businesses, helping them reach more customers through logistics programs, technology, and free training,” says Virginia Pavin, Director of Amazon Brasil’s Marketplace.
The Deputy Manager of Market Access at Sebrae Nacional, Ivan Tonet, notes that online sales by small businesses grew by over 100% in the last three years, according to data from the Federal Revenue Service. “This shows how e-commerce has become an indispensable channel for the competitiveness of small businesses,” he reiterates. “We’re talking about a market that jumped from R$ 5 billion in 2019 to R$ 67 billion in 2024. We need to stand side by side with entrepreneurs and prepare them to meet this new consumer behavior in the best possible way.”
During the webinar, participants will have access to information about the benefits of selling on Amazon, an introduction to the marketplace, how to start selling, and details of the FBA – Fulfillment by Amazon program. For new partner sellers, Amazon offers a benefits package worth up to R$ 80,000. Among the advantages are reduced commissions in 17 categories, waived monthly fees for one year, R$ 5,000 in Amazon Ads credits, and dedicated account management (see the terms and conditions).
