Amazon Brazil, in a strategic partnership with Sebrae, will hold a free webinar on August 15th, from 5 PM to 7 PM (BRT), with the goal of promoting digitalization and expansion for Brazilian SMEs. The event will provide knowledge about accessing the digital market and logistic solutions for companies looking to expand their operations through Amazon’s marketplace.
This initiative coincides with a major expansion of the FBA – Fulfillment by Amazon program, which aims to optimize delivery times and enhance logistics management for partner sellers. By the end of 2025, FBA will be available in distribution centers in Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará. Additionally, starting in August this year, the distribution center in Nova Santa Rita (RS), which has been operating the program since 2024, will also serve sellers from Santa Catarina and Paraná. With this expansion, partner sellers (Regular or Simples Nacional regimes) in these regions will be able to ship their products directly to these centers, delegating all logistics operations to Amazon.
‘Our goal is to be the best partner for Brazilian entrepreneurs and SMEs. With the expansion of FBA and initiatives like the webinar with Sebrae, we are providing the necessary tools and knowledge for these entrepreneurs to digitize their businesses, reach new markets, and thrive on Amazon’s marketplace. This is how Amazon invests in the success of small and medium-sized businesses, helping them reach more customers through logistics programs, technology, and free training,’ says Virginia Pavin, Director of Amazon Brazil’s Marketplace.
The deputy manager of Market Access at Sebrae Nacional, Ivan Tonet, notes that online sales by small businesses have grown by over 100% in the last three years, according to data from the Receita Federal. ‘This shows how e-commerce has become an indispensable channel for the competitiveness of small businesses,’ he emphasizes. ‘We’re talking about a market that leaped from R$ 5 billion in 2019 to R$ 67 billion in 2024. We need to stand side by side with entrepreneurs and prepare them to serve this new consumer behavior effectively.’
During the webinar, participants will gain access to information about the benefits of selling on Amazon, an introduction to the marketplace, how to start selling, and details about the FBA – Fulfillment by Amazon program. For new partner sellers, Amazon offers a benefits package that can reach up to R$ 80,000. Among the advantages are reduced commissions in 17 categories, waived monthly fees for one year, R$ 5,000 in Amazon Ads credits, and dedicated account management (see the terms and conditions).
