In celebration of Women’s Month, ABcripto (Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomics) announces the launch of the initiative “Blockchain Without Barriers: The Female Voice in Cryptoeconomics,” a series of online meetings aimed at strengthening women’s presence in the crypto sector. Starting on April 8, the initiative takes place every Tuesday until May 20, from 5 PM to 6 PM, bringing together industry experts to share knowledge and encourage women’s participation in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Interested participants can register on the Sympla platform via this link.
According to data from the Federal Revenue Service from July 2023, women represent 15% of cryptocurrency investors in Brazil—but this scenario is changing. The crypto asset sector is growing exponentially, bringing new opportunities and demanding greater diversity. In this context, ABcripto aims to provide an accessible space for learning, exchanging experiences, and networking, strengthening women’s engagement in the cryptoeconomics sector.
“We want to broaden the debate and create more opportunities for women in the crypto sector, which is still predominantly male. With this initiative, we seek to provide knowledge, open doors, and encourage female participation in this ever-evolving ecosystem,” highlights Renata Mancini, Vice President of ABcripto’s Board of Directors.
The meetings will be led by industry experts and will cover topics ranging from basic crypto concepts to more advanced subjects such as digital security and decentralized finance (DeFi). Over seven modules, themes like asset protection, investment strategies, buying and storing cryptocurrencies, and guidance on avoiding scams and fraud will be explored. There will also be a module dedicated to women’s participation in the crypto market, highlighting network-building and maximizing results.
ABcripto reaffirms its commitment to spreading knowledge and encouraging women’s presence in the crypto space. The initiative aims to democratize access to essential information about blockchain, digital assets, regulation, and security, empowering more women to explore the opportunities in this growing sector. In addition to educational content, the program provides a networking environment, fostering enriching exchanges between participants and experts.
Participants who attend at least 80% of the program will receive a certificate, adding value to their education and expanding their opportunities in the crypto asset market.
