Magalu has just closed the sponsorship of the broadcasts of the Brazilian Championship games on RECORD. The matches will take place throughout 2025 and it is another opportunity for the company to get closer to the audience that consumes football and reinforce its brand positioning across the entire national territory, as teams from various states will have their games broadcast by the channel throughout the year. Magalu already has a track record in sponsoring sports events, most recently being present at the Paris Olympics and the 2022 World Cup.

Magalu will be present in all broadcasts carried out by RECORD on open TV, R7.com, and the Play Plus streaming. The channel will have the rights to broadcast the disputes of the Liga Forte União (LFU), which includes 12 teams from 8 different states, including Athletico Paranaense, Atlético-GO, Botafogo, Corinthians, Criciúma, Cruzeiro, Cuiabá, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Internacional, Juventude, and Vasco. The games will be narrated by Cléber Machado and will have commentators Maurício Noriega, Dodô, and Sálvio Spínola, reporting by Bruno Laurence, Alê Oliveira, Duda Gonçalves, Lucas Pereira, Bruno Piccinato, and Jean Brandão. The presentation will be by Paloma Tocci.
There will be 38 matches with company’s advertising placements before the start of the game, during with scoreboard appearances, lineup, commercial break, and other moments. There will also be commercial placements and personalized vignettes on other programs of the channel such as Record News, Brazil Talks, Spectacular Sunday, Today in Day, Alert City, Record Sunday, and General Balance.
