In an unprecedented move, members of the iFood Club will receive up to 25% discount on Decolar

The Brazilian technology company iFood, a reference in delivery, and Decolar, a leading travel technology company in Latin America, are starting to work together to bring even more benefits to consumers and provide a new level of convenience and practicality for Brazilians. The first initiative is offering up to 25% off on accommodation to subscribers of iFood’s loyalty program, the ‘Clube iFood.’ Both companies are exploring other ways to simplify and enhance user experience.

“We are very excited about the new opportunities the connection with Decolar will bring to consumers,” says Henrique Iwamoto, Chief Investment and Partnership Executive at iFood. “We’ve already changed the way people order food, now we’re going to change the logic of providing convenience and services in general. This means more satisfied users with a connected and practical experience, leading to more orders for partners and increased income for delivery drivers. All driven by the strength of our solution network, fueled by intense consumer traffic,” he explains.

Last week, Decolar became part of the Prosus group, a global technology company, with the acquisition process completed. iFood is also part of the group.

iFood Club

Currently, the Club, with 13 million subscribers, is responsible for 40% of the orders placed on the platform – a key lever for increased consumption.

“We have been working to establish the Club as the most robust loyalty program in the country. iFood offers subscribers an increasingly comprehensive experience, with benefits both inside and outside the app. The partnership with Decolar expands this value proposition and reinforces iFood’s role as a hub of practical and advantageous solutions for consumers,” says Bruno Henriques, COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Marketplace at iFood.

The program, which started with the aim of increasing orders in restaurants, has been operating for six months for the Grocery and Pharmacy categories. In the case of Pharmacy, for example, sales have grown by over 40% with the introduction of the Club.

How the iFood Club works

With a monthly plan of only R$12.90, the Club offers several advantages such as 5 coupons of up to R$10, valid at all restaurants, discounts of up to 50% off, and other exclusive coupons every day. Additionally, it also includes free delivery at pharmacies and grocery stores, expanding the possibilities for savings in everyday life. The program also offers experiences beyond the app, such as new discounts with Decolar. New users can try the Club for free in the first 30 days.
