With a trajectory that mixes journalism, music, immigration, and motherhood, journalist Carol Tavares has just released the e-book “How to be human among algorithms”. The work proposes a new way of thinking about content marketing, combining strategy, sensitivity, and purpose. The publication is a direct response to the exhaustion of automatic formulas that have taken over social media.
“We don’t need more posts saying the same thing over and over again, in an automatic tone of voice. We need messages that truly touch someone, generating connection and transforming the audience into people who want to join the brand,” says Carol, who translates her experience of over 15 years in communication and audience behavior into the e-book. With accessible language and practical examples, the author invites small businesses, creators, and freelance professionals to build a digital presence with more truth and less anxiety.
Divided into objective chapters, the book explores everything from creating purposeful content to consciously engaging with algorithms. There are also self-awareness tips based on studies, aimed at teaching how to communicate in a genuine way that also sells. “Authenticity has become a trend – thankfully! But it is still being misinterpreted. It is not about exposing everything, but about positioning oneself clearly and coherently,” notes the author.
The e-book is now available for online purchase on Kindle (Amazon) and marks the beginning of a series of projects by the journalist focused on creating content with soul.
