Amazon announces Amazon’ Withdrawal Points and expands delivery options in Brazil

Constantly evolving for the benefit of customers and adapting individual needs, Amazon has just announced another delivery option for Brazilians, the Amazon Withdrawal Points.The modality allows customers to withdraw their orders at strategic points in a variety of cities in the country, making the shopping experience even more convenient in the Amazon.com.br. At launch, the option already has 532 points located in all states of Brazil, including capitals. By the end of the year, coverage should be expanded to more than three thousand points.

Designed to meet the share of the Brazilian population living in isolated areas, as well as consumers who are not at home during business hours or do not have a reception to receive their orders, the new option of delivery of the Amazon.com.br it offers more choice and security so consumers can pick up their purchases at the Amazon Withdrawal Points closest to their homes or more convenient in their routine, such as stores, markets and drugstores that are part of the program.

To use the pick-up option, customers must select a product eligible for this modality, proceed to the “Product Page” or the “Cart”, and then choose “Draw”. The map displayed will allow the selection of Amazon Pick-up Points closest to the customer's location or preference.The modality is implemented in partnership with Jadlog, the transportation company that pioneered the product pickup in Brazil, a solution originating from the Geopost Group, with a capillary structure throughout the country. In addition, the eligible points underwent training to offer the best experience for their customers and maintaining Amazon's commitment to operational excellence.

Since the launch of retail operations in 2019, Amazon Brasil continues to grow and today offers a selection of more than 150 million products in more than 50 categories, delivering in 100% of the municipalities.There are already more than 160 logistics hubs operating with Amazon technology spread across strategic regions from North to South of the country.

In addition to the convenience of delivery options, Amazon Prime members still have free and fast shipping throughout Brazil, with no minimum purchase value for millions of eligible items, and more than 1,300 cities have deliveries in up to two days and in one day to more than 200 cities. The other customers can experience free shipping on purchases above R$ 79, considering products shipped by Amazon.
