Amazon announces ‘Amazon Pickup Points’ and expands delivery options in Brazil

Continuously evolving for customer benefit and adapting to individual needs, Amazon has just announced another delivery option for Brazilians: Amazon Pickup Points. This method allows customers to pick up their orders at strategic locations across various cities in the country, making the shopping experience on Amazon.com.br even more convenient. At launch, the option already includes 532 points located in every state of Brazil, including state capitals. By the end of the year, coverage is expected to expand to over three thousand points.

Designed to serve the portion of the Brazilian population living in isolated areas, as well as customers who are not at home during business hours or do not have a reception to receive their packages, this new delivery option from Amazon.com.br offers more flexibility and security, allowing consumers to pick up their purchases at the Amazon Pickup Points closest to their homes or most convenient for their routines, such as stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies participating in the program.

To use the pickup option, customers should select a product eligible for this method, proceed to the “Product Page” or “Cart,” and then choose “Pickup” as the delivery method. The displayed map will allow the selection of the nearest Amazon Pickup Points based on the customer’s location or preference. This method is implemented in partnership with Jadlog, a transportation company pioneering the pickup solution in Brazil, originating from the Geopost Group, with a nationwide capillary structure. Additionally, eligible points have undergone training to provide the best experience for customers, maintaining Amazon’s commitment to operational excellence.

Amazon Pickup Points are part of this investment.”

Since the launch of retail operations in 2019, Amazon Brazil has been growing and now offers a selection of over 150 million products across more than 50 categories, delivering to 100% of municipalities. There are already over 160 logistics hubs operating with Amazon technology spread across strategic regions from North to South of the country.

In addition to the convenience of delivery options, Amazon Prime members also enjoy free and fast shipping nationwide, with no minimum purchase requirement for millions of eligible items, with over 1,300 cities receiving deliveries in up to two days and same-day delivery in over 200 cities. Other customers can enjoy free shipping on purchases over R$79 for products shipped by Amazon.
