The Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm) announces the election of the new board. Starting this month, Fernando Hidalgo Mansano assumes the presidency of the entity, alongside André Sussumu Iizuka as vice president. The election was held on July 1st and symbolizes the beginning of a new management cycle focused on institutional strengthening and addressing the growing demands of the e-commerce sector in Brazil.
With the transition, Mauricio Salvador concludes his tenure as president of ABComm after four terms marked by significant advancements for national e-commerce. He will assume the presidency of the association’s Deliberative Council, contributing his expertise in long-term strategy formulation. “It has been an honor to preside over the association in recent years. I will continue to contribute to the Deliberative Council and international alliances to ensure the association’s continued growth. I am passing the baton with great confidence in the continuity and evolution of its work,” said Salvador.
The new ABComm board comprises professionals with strong industry experience and will spearhead strategic initiatives, including government relations, innovation, and events, which are fundamental pillars for Brazil’s digital ecosystem.
The transition marks a new phase for the entity, reaffirming ABComm’s commitment to innovation, representation, and the sustainable development of e-commerce in Brazil.
