Giassi Supermarkets invest in AI to optimize their logistic operation

Giassi Supermarkets, one of the largest retail chains in Santa Catarina, has found technology to be a strategic ally in enhancing its logistics efficiency and improving the consumer experience. With a revenue of R$4.1 billion and headquartered in Içara (SC), the chain remains one of the sector’s leaders in the state.

The partnership with Envoy, an AI-based platform that revolutionizes delivery management, has been crucial in this progress. By adopting the solution, Giassi’s network gained real-time traceability, AI-optimized routing, complete visibility of operations, as well as expanding its geographic coverage without compromising delivery quality to its customers.

“Choosing Envoy was very accurate. We were researching various delivery platforms and saw in this solution an experience and expertise for the last mile, which was our goal. We wanted to transform customer shopping delivery into a service that added value to the purchase, and that was done more accurately, economically, and punctually,” says José Roberto Sampaio, Logistics Manager at Giassi Supermarkets.

The platform also offers the possibility to monitor key indicators such as store performance, SLA, and real-time driver location. “We can associate delivery performance with fleet control and identify areas with higher or lower delivery incidence, allowing us to take strategic actions in those regions,” says Sampaio.
