The Efí Bank is the best company to work for in Brazil in the financial services category, according to Great Place To Work (GPTW). The company ranked first among medium-sized ones in the 6th edition of the Financial Institutions ranking announced this Tuesday, September 24.
Recognized worldwide, the classification highlights the best companies to work for based on analysis of aspects like quality, organization, and trust. “We are very proud to be part of this renowned ranking. Even more so to know that the evaluation heavily considers our employees’ opinions. This demonstrates how right our choice is to always prioritize the health and well-being of our team in organizational decisions,” says Evanil Paulo, CEO of Efí Bank, about the certification.
The initiatives that secure the top spot in the GPTW ranking for the company go beyond career plans and internal growth opportunities. For two years, they have implemented a 4-day workweek. In addition to the shorter week, the institution offers benefits such as extended maternity and paternity leaves (7 months and 1 month respectively), language, undergraduate, and postgraduate study scholarships, as well as educational assistance for employees’ children up to 17 years old. Health and dental insurance, life insurance, and food and meal vouchers are also part of their benefits package.
With a talent retention rate of nearly 90%, Efí has around 500 employees spread throughout the country. About 90% of them work remotely. They also receive state-of-the-art equipment (including a computer with two monitors) as well as furniture and accessories meeting all ergonomic requirements to work from their homes under the same conditions offered to colleagues who choose to work in person at their headquarters in Ouro Preto.
The institution has also been awarded, for two consecutive years, the title of 2nd best company to work for in Minas Gerais by GPTW.
