SustainableIT.org, the CIO-led nonprofit dedicated to advancing global sustainability through technology leadership, announces the honorees for the 2024 SustainableIT Impact Awards, recognizing exceptional contributions to technology-driven sustainability in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) categories.
Among the highlights of the award in the Social category is Netza&CO. Through its social business unit, Circulando, it connects brands, NGOs, and projects with ESG purposes, promoting sustainable actions to address social and environmental issues, creating a positive impact for people and the environment, such as, for example,CaJu Project.Circulando reused construction materials, optimized new resources and transformed the precarious facilities of the NGO responsible for transforming lives through education into a cultural space for children in vulnerable situations.
As the rise of AI and digital transformation continues to reshape business landscapes, sustainability has emerged as a critical outcome alongside growth, customer experience, and agility. However, the sustainable practices and achievements of IT leaders are often not visible and rarely recognized. The SustainableIT Impact Awards 2024 are dedicated to highlighting leaders and organizations that are promoting IT sustainability and making a significant impact through their environmental, social, and governance programs.
