Amicci, a marketplace for private label products, announces the launch of the e-book “The Power of AI in Modern Retail”, which deals with the integration of artificial intelligence-based solutions into the sector. The company plans to release the material during PL Connection, the largest event ofprivate labelof Latin America, which takes place between the 17th and 19th of September, in São Paulo.
With a foreword written by Eduardo Terra, president of the Brazilian Society of Retail and Consumption (SBVC), the e-book brings together articles by experts in the retail market that address the challenges and opportunities of implementing technology in this area, including in segments such as private labels.

The digital book describes the impact of technology on the retail market, presenting use cases in which it drives online sales, develops private label products and drives more personalized and targeted advertising campaigns.
Artificial intelligence is presented in the e-book as a solution to increase competitiveness, boost businesses through data analysis tools on packaging design, suggest products to customers, and evaluate the competition. The digital distribution of the book will take place for free during PL Connection.
In addition to the launch of this work, the event will feature around 100 exhibitors, including companies such as Carrefour, Pão de Açúcar Group, Cobasi, Petz, and Sam’s Club. This edition will also feature the 2024 Private Label Excellence Award, which recognizes best practices carried out by companies that develop their own product brands.
