Dinastia, Carol Paiffer's business accelerator, holds hackathon focused on small and medium-sized companies

The Dinastia business accelerator by Carol Paiffer is hosting the "Le Hackathon – Dinastia Accelerator SMEs" on July 12th online, and on July 13th and 14th in person, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises. The technology marathon is held in person at the new building specially constructed for the accelerator, in Jardim Europa, São Paulo (SP).

The event takes place through Sabiá, recently incorporated into the Dynasty and led by Rafael Incao. Sabiá is a company specialized in data science, artificial intelligence, and hackathons.

During the "Le Hackathon," six technological solutions for SMEs will be developed by different teams. The themes of the solutions will be revealed during the event. The jury is composed of Carol, Rafael, and guest experts.

Those interested in participating in the hackathon can participate in the selection process throughonline registration. In addition to those selected, developers and data professionals from the French technology school Le Wagon, where Rafael is a professor, will also participate.

“Among my greatest passions are entrepreneurship and technology. Bringing Dinastia and Sabiá together to promote a hackathon aimed at small and medium-sized companies is completely in line with what I believe: that technology should be an ally not only for large companies, but for any and all businesses. Today, fortunately, opportunities for technological evolution are increasingly available, so no company can fail to use them”, says Carol.

“The hackathon is a way for us to show the relevance of SMEs in the national scenario, since the focus is to create solutions for this audience, which wants to innovate but often does not know the way or does not have sufficient resources. The number of small and medium-sized companies in Brazil is almost 500 thousand, out of a total of more than 6 million companies of all sizes. SMEs are the main driving force of the Brazilian economy, being the largest source of income and employment for the population. They are responsible for 72% of formal jobs and 33% of the national GDP. This information shows the importance of seeking ever greater evolution for these companies”, says Rafael.

Carol Paiffer is also co-founder and CEO of Atom S/A, a trading desk and platform focused on financial education and entrepreneurship. The businesswoman, who has been active in the financial market since 2005, is a bold investor on the program Shark Tank Brazil. As a participating entrepreneur in the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 editions, Carol has already invested in around 60 companies from various sectors.

Rafael Incao holds a degree in Mathematics from USP and is a Data Science professor at the French technology school Le Wagon. With 11 years in the digital market, he currently develops solutions in data and AI through hackathons and business consulting, promoting digital transformation in companies.
