According to recent retail and card payment statistics in Brazil published by the Central Bank, in 2023, card transactions reached approximately 108.7 billion operations, corresponding to 624 transactions per capita. The financial amount of these transactions reached R$ 99.7 trillion, which is approximately 9.1 times the GDP. Regarding 2022, these numbers represented a 31% increase in the number of transactions and a 9% increase in the transacted volume.
With the rapidly growing payments market, Klok Tech has created a platform to promote efficiency and scalability for businesses in various sectors. According to Renata Cinci, Commercial Head of Klok Tech, the company has plans to expand its partnerships and reach new clients, maintaining a focus on results. "The platform was built to promote business efficiency and scalability, so our goal is to expand the portfolio to banks and fintechs, further strengthening partnerships with payment processors, in addition to continuing to grow the retail segment," he explains.
Renata emphasizes that the main goal of Klok's partnerships with companies such as Vuon Card and C&A Pay is to provide B2B integrative solutions, transforming itself into a facilitator that connects and integrates differentplayersof the market. "This promotes a more comprehensive and efficient management of the business, in a safe, technological, and interdependent way."
For Renata, providing service to major clients like Vuon Card and C&A Pay has been a significant catalyst for innovation within Klok. "The proposals for improvements and evolutions in our platform are continuous and, as we live in a very dynamic world, technology is no different. Since Klok's founding in 2021, we have significantly evolved the platform and invested 20% of our revenue in innovation," he comments.
Klok's solutions have helped customers achieve their goals in a variety of ways, from easy integrations with insurance, assistance and dental plan companies, through product configuration and business rules, to complete management (from sales to billing), simplifying day-to-day operational flows.
The collaboration with Vuon Card generated significant results: “In addition to supporting them in managing and expanding the portfolio as a whole, Klok implemented services such as notification of financial service subscriptions and automatic annual adjustments in the price of insurance and assistance, all of which are extremely important for the efficiency of the operation”, explains Renata.
In the case of C&A Pay, Klok still offers Kear Web, a responsive website that allows the offering of insurance and assistance to the public who prefer to make purchases using a branded credit card, that is, an additional sales and revenue channel. "We work with a focus on the ecosystem, from end to end, from integration to our client's sales front," concludes Renata.
