TikTok Shop no Brasil: média de venda diária cresce 26x em quatro meses

TikTok Shop, an e-commerce solution integrated with the entertainment platform, is consolidating its success in Brazil with exponential growth in its first months of operation. The numbers reveal a significant impact on the Brazilian digital retail landscape, validating the “discovery-based shopping” model offered by the platform.

Comparing the performance from September with that of May, the month the platform was launched in Brazil, the average daily revenue* (GMV – Gross Merchandise Value) grew 26 times.. “People already had the habit of discovering and exploring products on TikTok; for example, three out of four users stated they had already purchased a product after seeing it on TikTok. Now, TikTok Shop offers a new, much more personalized way to shop. It ushers in the era of Discovery-Based Shopping, which combines entertainment with discovery,” explains Gustavo Mondo, Home & Decor Lead for TikTok Shop in Brazil.

The platform saw rapid adoption by brands and content creators. In the first four months, engagement with TikTok Shop grew exponentially, with a 12-fold increase in the number of creators making monthly sales, reinforcing the platform's role as a new monetization channel. The base of shopkeepers and brands actively selling on TikTok Shop also expanded significantly, with an 11-fold increase in the number of sellers with monthly sales in the same period, solidifying the platform as a strategic partner for retail, for companies of all sizes—be it major brands, small and medium-sized businesses, or micro-entrepreneurs.

Black Friday Discounts

To celebrate TikTok Shop's first Black Friday in Brazil, the platform will offer discounts of up to 30% on selected products throughout the entire month. Furthermore, the shopkeepers themselves will be able to offer discounts that will be cumulative.

Success Stories on TikTok Shop

During the platform's first months of operation in the country, brands, entrepreneurs, and creators have already achieved significant results.

An example is a Granado, which became the first brand in Brazil to partner with the TikTok Shop team for a Super Brand Day (SBD), a multi-day activation designed to boost visibility, engagement, and sales. The campaign generated an audience of 16 million impressions and nearly 300,000 viewers, resulting in over 18,000 products sold.

Another success story is Diogo Bottino, a content creator focused on TikTok Shop Lives, who is among the platform's TOP 50 creators, having sold over 100,000 products in a single live stream and reaching nearly R$500 thousand in sales in one month. His achievements on TikTok Shop include a total GMV of R$1.08 million, with R$753 thousand generated from live streams alone, totaling 148 broadcasts.

Vittare Home, an SME in the Home & Decor category from Ibitinga-MG, is another successful model of someone acting as their own brand creator on TikTok Shop. The company achieves a monthly revenue of R$200 thousand solely from its store on the platform, with 75% of its total revenue coming from TikTok Shop. Since joining the platform, Vittare Home has recorded 50% growth.
