“The data shows an interesting overview of Brazilians’ online behavior. Half of the most visited websites are social networks, which shows how much these platforms are part of people’s digital daily lives. It is worth noting that the survey only considers access via the web, without including data from applications, which are extremely popular, especially for networks such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. Even so, the fact that these addresses are among the most visited websites confirms the strength of networks as points of connection, entertainment and communication,” he says.Erich CasagrandeMarketing Leader of Semrush BR.
The survey also found that around70.20% of accesses to the country's main websites were made via mobile devices, reinforcing the dominance of mobile use in online content consumption.
"The fact that most access is via mobile devices reflects how smartphones have become an essential part of Brazilians' lives. Today, we do everything on our phones: from checking social media and news to making online purchases. This predominance of mobile use shows how easy and immediate internet access has shaped our habits, making browsing more practical and accessible. For users, this means being able to address their needs at any time, from anywhere, with convenience at their fingertips," concludes Casagrande.
