Brazilian platform democratizes access to online sales with intuitive virtual catalogs for SMEs

In 2024, Brazilian e-commerce revenue exceeded R$ 200 billion, with a growth of over 10% compared to the previous year, according to data from the Brazilian Association of E-commerce (ABComm). This year, the outlook is for the sector to grow even further, between 10 and 15%, and attract three million new buyers. In the face of this optimistic scenario full of opportunities, Vendizap, an e-commerce platform for creating virtual catalogs, enters the market with the proposal to democratize access to online sales for small entrepreneurs. The tool offers the possibility to create intuitive virtual catalogs that function as online stores, even for those who do not have technical knowledge or investment to develop their own website.

According to André Campos, CEO of Vendizap, the platform was developed to meet the needs of small business owners who are already engaged in online sales through WhatsApp but face limitations in terms of resources and production capacity. “Most of our clients already use WhatsApp to sell their products, but spend hours responding to messages, sending photos, and descriptions. With Vendizap, they can create a virtual catalog in minutes and send the shop or product link to their customers, who can make the purchase directly through the catalog, streamlining the entire sales process,” explains Campos.

According to the Ministry of Economy, 99% of businesses in Brazil are Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and they are responsible for a significant portion of the Brazilian GDP. However, according to Sebrae, 50% of these businesses close within the first five years of existence. Considering the economic impact that such businesses have on the Brazilian market, empowering small and medium entrepreneurs becomes not only necessary but also advantageous. With a focus on strengthening this segment, Vendizap’s solutions prioritize facilitating access to e-commerce for these businesses.

With the e-commerce platform, small entrepreneurs can create customized virtual catalogs easily and intuitively, including photos, descriptions, and product prices. Merchants can offer online payment options, delivery, track sales, and inventory control in one place, making business management easier. Additionally, Vendizap also offers the possibility of completing sales through WhatsApp, aligning with the importance of this resource for small entrepreneurs who use it to maintain a good relationship with their customers.

“Micro, small, and medium enterprises are an irreplaceable part of our economy. Therefore, it is essential to empower them to increase their competitiveness potential and stay in the market. Vendizap arises from this perception and understanding that tools initially considered informal, such as WhatsApp, can indeed boost businesses given the importance of the customer experience,” adds Campos. The e-commerce platform offers monthly plans at affordable prices and does not charge fees on products, allowing sales even without a CNPJ, further facilitating commercialization for small entrepreneurs.
