- Why did you decide to create a bank within WhatsApp?
WhatsApp is an app used by 200 million Brazilians. It seemed natural to be where our user already spends most of their time, especially after finding a secure way to do so with the new platform features that allow the use of a password for transactions, for example.
- What are the benefits of using Magie compared to other digital banks?
Using Magie is like having a personal assistant rather than just a bank. You can simply give instructions, it understands and executes for you, as if it were a person. It understands audio, photos, everything within your own WhatsApp.
- What measures does Magie take to protect user privacy and data and how does it ensure the security of transactions carried out through WhatsApp?
As we use a Payment Institution infrastructure, regulated by the Central Bank, we have the same level of security and privacy as banks. We also use new WhatsApp features to only make transactions with a password. Furthermore, having a Magie ensures that you, as a user, do not need to open your bank app to quickly make a pix on the street, providing more security for your money.
- How does Magie plan to evolve and add new features in the future?
We will delve deeper into both virtual assistant features and Open Finance features, allowing your Magie to become increasingly intelligent and useful, getting to know you deeply and helping you save time and money.
