At Azul Cargo Express, the logistics unit of Azul Linhas Aéreas, took an important step in modernizing its last mile operation, a decisive stage in the customer experience. With over 320 stores in Brazil and abroad, the company provides door-to-door deliveries to more than 5 thousand Brazilian municipalities, covering about 90% of localities. This ensures a national coverage of approximately 96% of the population, consolidating the company as one of the largest integrated logistics networks in the country, operating in the United States and Portugal.
Currently, e-commerce represents 37% of Azul’s revenue and expectations are that this number will increase to 50% by the end of 2025. In recent years, Azul Cargo has been enhancing its traceability and delivery efficiency through new technological solutions, which has led to significant gains in agility, control, and visibility of operations.
The partnership with Envoy has marked a significant advancement for our company, enhancing the efficiency and visibility of last mile operations. Now, our customers have access to electronic receipts and geolocation, increasing transparency and traceability, resulting in an even more satisfying experience. In summary, this collaboration has placed us at the forefront of last mile operations, driving our growth and success,” says Clício Lopes do Nascimento, Coordinator of Logistics and Distribution at Azul.
With a more connected and data-driven operation, Azul Cargo Express has been able to make strategic decisions more quickly, ensuring continuous improvements in final customer delivery.
