Brasil-China: cinco benefícios de uma parceria tecnológica para as empresas

Forming international business partnerships is a strategic move to elevate the brand in its segment and become a reference in the field. Among a wide range of advantageous territories to strengthen this relationship, much has been explored in commercial relations with China, in an approach that can yield great results for the brand's expansion and its competitive prominence.

At the end of 2023, during President Lula's visit to the country, around 15 agreements were signed in cooperation with the Chinese government, with highlights in the areas of trade, technology, and agribusiness. Even though there is a clear interest from China in exporting its solutions to our territory, both parties have much to gain from this rapprochement, mainly in terms of learning, networking, and business expansion.

Few still truly understand the range of benefits that can be gained from this business relationship. Therefore, see below four advantages that can be gained by ventures that delve into this strategy:

#1 Leaving Eurocentrism:The idea that Europe or even the United States are the centers of the world and reference in all aspects is something that needs to be left behind. There are many other powers, such as China itself, that can offer enormous business benefits to companies seeking to establish strong and prosperous relationships. As proof of this, in 2022, the volume of bilateral trade reached US$150.5 billion according to government data, highlighting an upward trend that needs to be on entrepreneurs' radar.

#2 Having one of the largest GDPs in the world:China is currently the nation with the second-largest global GDP, estimated at US$ 17.70 trillion – making it a highly advantageous region for investment and establishing commercial relations. This ensures that companies that decide to approach local businesses in terms of business have greater financial security in determining the strategies to be followed, especially in the fastest-growing areas such as technology.

#3 Access to cutting-edge technologies:In a forecast shared by the Chinese president, the country intends to inject 371 billion yuan (approximately R$ 262.7 billion) into science and technology (S&T) this year. This is an excellent moment to strengthen commercial partnerships between nations, as Brazilian companies will have access not only to cutting-edge and sophisticated technological resources but also to a team of local developers ready to assist with these technological demands. All of this, at a much more cost-effective rate compared to other nations.

#4 Cloud investments:Complementing the previous topic, the cloud is one of the technologies that China has been investing in the most and that also shows great potential to be prioritized by Brazilian companies. After all, in the corporate world, this resource brings greater flexibility, reliability, performance, and efficiency in processes, helping to reduce costs and increase productivity. According to the local government, the goal is for its "Eastern Data and Western Computing" plan in this area to generate around US$ 56.3 billion in investments per year – including, in its actions, the expansion of this model to other countries to promote such partnerships, including Brazil.

#5 Support from specialized partners:Although technology is already a widely spread reality in the market, there are still many companies that face difficulties in incorporating these resources into their daily operations. Therefore, to keep up with this movement and prevent your business from falling behind, it is important to rely on specialized partners in the field who can provide a qualified team to lead this technological process internally. Today, there are already companies dedicated to this mission here, capable of providing all the necessary support to unlock the technological potential of the brand in its segment.

Currently, choosing to run a business alone is not something smart. We live in a dynamic market where establishing these commercial relationships brings great advantages for growth and competitive prominence, allowing the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and resources that will boost the brand and enhance its performance.

The relations between Brazil and China have been built for years and are showing increasingly better results. There is much to be explored by the parties in this regard, which must be followed by companies that wish to differentiate themselves and reach ever higher heights, becoming true references in their fields.
