Amazon Music Includes Audible Audiobooks for Customers in Brazil, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Japan

Amazon announces that subscribers of Amazon Music Unlimited in Brazil, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Japan can now listen to one audiobook per month from the Audible content library – which includes a high-quality catalog of over 750,000 of the world’s most popular and timeless audiobooks. Today’s announcement follows the recent launch of audiobooks on Amazon Music in the US, UK, Canada, France, Australia, and New Zealand. The inclusion of the Audible catalog makes Amazon Music Unlimited the premier destination for audio entertainment – with access to over 100 million songs in HD audio, the best ad-free podcasts, and an extensive catalog of audiobooks and original audio series – including music and spatial audio audiobooks. “We are ushering in a new era of audio entertainment for customers worldwide by bringing the high-quality audiobook catalog from Audible to Amazon Music Unlimited,” said Ryan Redington, General Manager of Amazon Music. “Uniting music, podcasts, and now audiobooks in one service offers our customers unprecedented value and convenience, all within a single subscription,” he added.

“Today’s launch is a significant milestone in our global audio entertainment offering, bringing Audible’s impressive catalog to even more Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers on five continents,” commented Bob Carrigan, CEO of Audible. “Through this innovative collaboration, we continue to reimagine how we deliver engaging audio experiences globally to diverse audiences, providing an exceptional library and customer experience, whether for Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers or through Audible’s service.”

Starting today, individual plan subscribers of Amazon Music Unlimited and family plan account holders can now listen to an audiobook – of any duration – per month. Customers can listen to the works as and when they want and continue listening to their monthly title after the start of the next billing cycle, or choose to select a new one. Although Amazon Music Unlimited offers access to one Audible title per month, customers who wish to listen to more works also have the option to subscribe to Audible or purchase individual titles directly from the service.

Amazon Music Unlimited now offers an extensive selection of audiobooks of various genres, in addition to Audible’s original and exclusive productions, including the reimagined classic “1984” starring Lázaro Ramos, Alice Carvalho, Mateus Solano, and Milhem Cortaz; “T-Zombii 2: The Book of the Living”, featuring Samuel de Assis, Fabiula Nascimento, Maíra Góes, Luiz Carlos Persy, Ingo Lyrio, and a large cast, and much more. Audible, home to the complete collection of Harry Potter audiobooks, has also recently announced a new co-production of the original stories in English. The new productions, scheduled for late 2025, will bring these iconic stories to life with stunning Dolby Atmos sound design, music, hundreds of character voices, and realistic sound capture. Customers can subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited for R$21.90/month. For a limited time, new subscribers can get the first four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free.
