The Prime Day, the largest Amazon offer event, set record numbers in its sixth edition in Brazil, boosted sales of partner sellers, and highlighted the demand for essential items, such as Personal Care and Food products. Prime members also got to enjoy over 20 million reais in vouchers, in addition to Prime Day deals in the United States, held between July 8 and 11, directly from the Brazilian site with free shipping. Same-day delivery offers also increased more than 4.5 times compared to the 2024 edition.
Amazon Prime offers members savings, convenience, and top-notch entertainment — and this year’s Prime Day provided even more time to shop and save. With an early offers period held between July 4 and 14, Prime members could enjoy exclusive deals before the official event days, which took place on the 15th and 16th of July. The event set sales records and some of the product categories that most attracted consumers, in terms of unit volume, were Personal Care, Beauty, Books, Food, Home, and Kitchen.
“Prime Day 2025 brought discounts of up to 60% on tens of thousands of products and marked our highest speed of same-day delivered items compared to the 2024 edition. This result reflects our team’s dedication to providing a unique shopping experience to customers. In addition to savings, we offer the convenience our members value. The success of this edition drives us to continue innovating, always with the goal of surprising and delighting Brazilian consumers,” says Juliana Sztrajtman, President of Amazon Brazil.
During Prime Day 2025, partner sellers recorded their highest sales volume compared to previous editions, creating growth opportunities for various businesses, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). “For Prime Day 2025, we focused on planning offers in advance to ensure attractive prices, as well as stocking our inventory at the Amazon Distribution Center. The result of this strategy was a 32% increase in revenue compared to Prime Day 2024,” says Mariana Castro, CEO of Minerva Candles.
To ensure the best experience for its customers and meet the high demand of Prime Day 2025, Amazon hired over 6,000 temporary workers. Distributed across the 12 Distribution Centers and 190 Amazon Delivery Stations in the country, these professionals were trained to optimize shipments throughout Brazil, always prioritizing the well-being and safety of the teams.
Prime Day is just one of the many benefits available to Prime members. In Brazil, Amazon Prime includes free and fast shipping with no minimum purchase, exclusive offers, movies and series on Prime Video, ad-free music and podcasts on Amazon Music Prime, access to hundreds of books and magazines with Prime Reading, three months of free Audible trial, and free games on Prime Gaming.
