The The 2020 Jeep Compass, in the automatic transmission and 2.0 turbo engine version, is the model with the largest decrease in median price among the automobiles evaluated by the latest edition of the Price Report from Data OLX Autos. The SUV recorded a reduction of 12.65% over twelve months on the platform. The study by OLX's automotive intelligence source monitored the price behavior of versions of 15 vehicles aged between 4 and 8 years, listed between August 2024 and August 2025. During this period, the SUV, which cost R$ 137,900, came to be valued at R$ 120,450.
“All available versions of the Compass in the sample feature automatic transmission, varying only by engine type and year. While the 2020 2.0 turbo configuration, which is the most expensive, recorded the largest price drop, of 12.65%, the versions with naturally aspirated engines, from 2017 to 2020, had more moderate depreciation, below 10%. In the current context, with higher interest rates for vehicle acquisition, the more affordable versions gain attractiveness. Despite this, the Compass remains a solid choice in its segment, ranking first in the UV-I for its category, which indicates consistent liquidity and stable demand,” comments Flávio Passos, VP of Autos at OLX Group.
According to the executive, by continuously monitoring the price variation of vehicles listed on the platform, the Price Report can identify relevant movements in the country's used car market. “OLX translates this behavior into market intelligence, through Data OLX Autos, allowing buyers, retailers, and partners to closely track value fluctuations and make more strategic decisions,” he explains.

Methodology
The median prices of hatchback, sedan, and SUV type automobiles listed on OLX were analyzed, as well as their variations over 12 months. For the study, five used models with the best ranking in the OLX Group Used Vehicle Index (UV-I) — Fenauto of August, classified by body type, were selected. The analysis considered national data and model year (2017 to 2020), transmission type (manual, automatic, or automated), and engine type.
Other factors that may impact the price — such as mileage, condition, presence of accessories, and geographic location — were not standardized in the analysis but may influence the results.
