Linx, a retail technology specialist, will host approximately 50 youth supported by Instituto Pulse Mais on October 11 at its office in the Birmann building, São Paulo. This initiative is part of the Linx em Ação program, created to encourage volunteer work within the company and support social actions aligned with the company's purposes.
During the morning, participants will experience a technology immersion led by 40 Linx volunteer employees—including analysts, technology specialists, and managers from different areas. The schedule includes mentoring sessions on career paths, interviews, selection processes, and choosing professional fields, as well as discussion circles that bridge market realities with the daily lives of youth. Currently, Linx's volunteer committee has 16 active members who lead and promote such initiatives within the company.
“We want to show youth the real career possibilities in technology and help them take their first steps in their professional journey. For our employees, it will also be an opportunity to experience volunteering in a practical and transformative way, while strengthening the company's values,” says Thiago Alvarenga, Executive Director of People & Management at Linx.
For Eduardo Cavalheiro Moura, Executive Director of Instituto Pulse Mais, the meeting goes far beyond a one-time experience: “This is an opportunity to inspire youth to see new paths and believe in their potential. When they have access to professionals and life stories so close to market reality, the dream of a career stops being something distant and becomes possible. This connection is what transforms knowledge into real opportunity.”
Linx em Ação will take place from 9 AM to 1 PM and reinforces the company's commitment to paving the way for new talent by providing access to information, references, and tools that can make a difference at the start of a career.
