With just over 100 days of operation in Brazil, Firehouse Subs takes a new strategic step to consolidate the brand and expand the reach of the operation in the Brazilian market. The American chain, famous for its artisanal subs with proteins "premiuns" Translation: "premiums" Note: The word "premiuns" appears to be a misspelling of "prêmios" in Portuguese, which translates to "premiums" in English. If the intended word was "prêmios," the translation would be "awards" or "prizes." However, based on the provided text, "premiuns" translates to "premiums.", announces the integration of the delivery service to its business model, providing customers with the opportunity to enjoy all the flavor and quality of its menu in the comfort of their homes.
In addition to increasing convenience for customers, the new feature also expands the brand's presence beyond regions where there are no physical stores, thus accelerating the possibilities of reaching new audiences by offering a menu recognized for its variety and freshness of ingredients, and delivering the gastronomic experience of the stores directly to consumers' tables, as explained by Firehouse Subs' CMO, Daniel Packness.
"In this new sales channel, our customers can check out our offers and the menu full of highlights, which can now be ordered online, and will reach the customer following the same standard of excellence as our stores. They will be prepared with high-quality ingredients inside a crispy bun on the outside and soft on the inside, and with extra care to maintain the unique flavor and provide pleasurable experiences," he detailed.
Still according to the executive, before adopting the model, the company structured a logistics framework to ensure a swift and efficient service journey.
“We took care when developing the packaging to ensure the quality of the delivery of the sub in the same way that the consumer would pick it up directly at our counter. With the opening of this new channel, we provide our customers with the convenience of receiving Firehouse Subs at their homes, as well as providing an experience opportunity to new audiences, who have not yet had the opportunity to try our subs.”
The CMO also notes that, in addition to delivering convenience and practicality, the launch of the new service is also a strategic milestone for Firehouse Subs in Brazil.
“Our focus has always been to offer products of excellence, and with this new operation, we ensure that even more people can have access to the quality and unmistakable flavor of our subs. It is an important step to strengthen our connection with consumers and accelerate our growth.”
The delivery service, according to Packness, is already available on iFood and will soon be available on other platforms – initially for the Guarulhos region, on an experimental basis, before being made available to other areas.
