A HeronPayBrazilian payments intelligence and management startup is one of 32 startups that will be at the Fintech Lounge of Febraban Tech 2025, the main technology and innovation event for the Latin American financial sector, taking place from June 10th to 12th at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. Under the theme "Accelerating the Financial Sector in the Age of Intelligence," the event brings together top banking leaders, fintechs, technology companies, and regulators to discuss the direction of digital transformation in the sector.
During the event, HeronPay will unveil its groundbreaking payment intelligence platform for the country. This platform combines fraud and scam prevention, expense management, and real-time controls, incorporating payment credentials such as cards, PIX, digital wallets, tokens, and tags. This offers customers of participating banks more control and personalization over their payment methods. The platform allows customers to set specific rules by merchant category—pharmacies, gas stations, casinos, restaurants, for example—as well as by time of day, financial limit, geolocation, and future planned events. Activation or modification is possible with a single click or voice command.
Targeting banks, fintechs, and financial institutions, HeronPay provides enriched and structured data *before* transaction authorization. This enables automated decisions, intelligent blocking, and proactive fraud prevention, including cases of misuse by third parties, such as family members or colleagues.
