Privacy Tools, the leading company in Brazil offering solutions for compliance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD - General Data Protection Law), celebrates a significant achievement by being recognized as the 13th best startup in Brazil and the 2nd place in the Legal Tech category of the 100 Open Startups 2024 Ranking. The award ceremony, held last Thursday (17th) in Rio de Janeiro, highlighted the top companies driving the open innovation sector in the country. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Privacy Tools has been recognized in the ranking.
100 Open Startups, a business platform for open innovation created by the Centro de Open Innovation Brasil, revealed the results of its 9th edition ranking, which involved over 12,000 startups and 6,000 corporations between July 2023 and June 2024. During this period, more than 60,000 contracts were signed between startups and large companies, generating over R$ 10 billion in new business.
"This recognition reinforces our commitment to leading and assisting companies in such an important area as the LGPD. Throughout our work, Privacy Tools has established itself as a benchmark by helping companies become more assertive in the complex landscape of compliance and privacy," explains Aline Deparis, CEO of the company.
The 100 Open Startups Ranking has been published since 2016 with the goal of monitoring, measuring, and rewarding the practice of open innovation with startups.
