“The data show an interesting panorama of the online behavior of Brazilians. Half of the most accessed sites are social networks, which shows how much these platforms are part of people's digital daily lives. It is worth noting that the survey considers only access via the web, without including application data, which are extremely popular, especially for networks such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. Even so, the fact that these addresses are among the most accessed sites confirms the strength of networks as points of connection, entertainment and communication”, he says Erich Casagrande, Marketing Leader of Semrush BR.
The survey also found that about 70,20% of the accesses to the main sites in the country were made by mobile devices, reinforcing the predominance of mobile use in the consumption of online content.
“The fact that most accesses are via mobile devices reflects how the smartphone has become an essential part of the lives of Brazilians. Today, we do everything by mobile: from checking social networks and news to online shopping. This predominance of mobile use shows how easy and immediate access to the internet has shaped our habits, making navigation more practical and accessible. For the user, this means being able to solve their needs anytime, anywhere, with convenience in the palm of their hand”, concludes Casagrande.
