9 e-commerce platforms that every clinic should pay attention to by 2025

Digital transformations in commerce impact all sectors of the market, including healthcare. In this context, the expansion of e-commerce for the sale of products to clinics becomes an ally in providing quality care to patients.

Data from the Brazilian Alliance of Innovative Industry in Health (ABIIS) indicate a growth of 7.9% in the use of medical-hospital equipment, which may be related to easier access to these products.

Furthermore, the success of e-commerce companies focused on health expands the options available for clinics and points to a promising scenario for the segment. The number of hospitalizations, surgeries, and exams also shows an increase in Brazil.

The ABIIS report revealed an increase in demand for health equipment, with factors such as the rise in the number of hospitalizations, which recorded a 4.5% growth in the SUS compared to the previous year.

The number of surgeries also increased by 7.9% in the period, while the number of exams grew by 7.4%, with a focus on tomographies and magnetic resonances.

The health equipment sector also saw an expansion in the workforce, with over three thousand new positions created in the first semester of 2024. Compared to previous years, the expectation is for numbers to increase again in 2025.
