Being one of the few in the world with the functionality, Poli Digital’s API hits R$6 million in sales with direct payment via chat

The startup Poli Digital announces that the amount transacted through the Poli Pay feature has reached R$6 million. The company provides technological solutions that centralize and automate contact channels for small and medium-sized businesses with their customers via WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook—all from Meta Group—with which Poli Digital has a partnership to access the official APIs of WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger.

Poli Pay is a solution from Poli that enables customers to make payments directly in the chat where they are being assisted. This method offers more speed, accuracy, and security in the company-customer relationship, highlights Poli’s CEO, Alberto Filho.

Citing market research, such as data from Opinion Box, Alberto Filho states that six out of ten consumers communicate with businesses through digital channels to make purchases. Thus, Poli Pay facilitates and, as a result, encourages the completion of transactions. ‘It has proven to be a highly attractive feature,’ he evaluates.

One indicator reinforces this analysis. According to Poli Digital’s CEO, nearly half (46%) of orders created via Poli Pay were completed with payment. This percentage is double that recorded in traditional e-commerce methods, where customers create shopping carts before finally completing the payment.

‘Poli Pay is a payment method where sending and receiving charges are integrated into the centralized contact automation system of the solution we offer. This way, from the initial customer contact, through product selection, and up to payment completion, the entire process is handled within the same chat,’ describes the CEO.

For customers, it means convenience, and for businesses, Poli Pay’s features help boost sales. Alberto Filho explains: ‘The tool’s interface allows the creation of product and service catalogs, with descriptions, prices, and photos. Additionally, it enables the creation and sending of a ‘shopping cart’ with a Poli Pay payment link option.’

Poli Digital has partnerships with Mercado Pago and PagSeguro. As such, Poli’s system is integrated with both brands. ‘This integration gives consumers diverse payment options—via boleto, Pix, or credit card. The business selling the products receives the payment through these institutions,’ states the CEO.

The company tracks and monitors the entire sales process. ‘It’s possible to manage sales information by customer name, seller, payment method, and payment status,’ exemplifies.
