An unprecedented survey by ABIMO (Brazilian Association of Medical Devices Industry) with the support of CFO (Federal Council of Dentistry) and conducted by the Italian consultancy Key-Stone highlighted the leading role of e-commerce among dentists in Brazil. The study revealed that 70% of professionals regularly use online platforms to purchase dental products, a rate higher than that observed in European countries.
Additionally, 21% of Brazilian dentists occasionally turn to e-commerce, making digital channels responsible for 66% of dental product purchases – far ahead of the 34% coming from traditional channels.
This preference reflects not only the convenience and variety offered by online platforms but also a growing trend of digitalization in the Brazilian dental sector, consolidating e-commerce as an indispensable tool in the daily routine of dental practices.
