Black Friday 2024 has once again consolidated itself as the main sales campaign for e-commerce in Brazil, bringing significant numbers that demonstrate the impact of using technology and personalized marketing strategies. Data from edrone, an exclusive CRM and marketing automation tool for e-commerce, show a growth of over 400% in Black Friday revenue, compared to the average of normal Fridays in 2024.
Furthermore, the number of orders on the last Friday (29/11) was 300% higher than on other Fridays in 2024, and edrone’s customers have recorded a growth of over 100% in the average value of orders placed during Black Friday, even with discounts applied on the date, which proves the importance of technological features such as product recommendations and cross-selling.

The ABComm estimated a 10% growth for the revenue of Black Friday 2024, increasing from R$ 7.2 billion in 2023 to R$ 7.93 billion in 2024, with a 4.68% growth in the Average Ticket of the products. The results achieved by edrone and Magazord’s clients exceed these expectations, proving that the use of technology combined with marketing tools and communication with customers increases conversions.
“According to some preliminary information received, we believe that the Black Friday was a success, even taking into account the country’s economic factors. This leads us to believe that ABComm’s estimate of R$ 7.93 billion, including the weekend, is close to national results,” says Alexandre Crivellaro, market intelligence director of the Brazilian Association of E-commerce.
Edrone, a CRM and marketing automation platform, recorded a total revenue of R$ 29.2 million (for an average of 500 clients) in just one day, 97% higher than in 2023. According to the e-commerce platform Magazord, which serves over 2,000 online stores in Brazil, Black Friday 2024 revenue amounted to R$ 210 million, representing a growth of 31.25% compared to 2023.
Gabriel Linardi, managing partner of Magazord, highlights that this growth is the result of the versatility of channels offered to customers and strategic preparation for Black Friday. “Paying attention to the details of each client’s business is essential to drive extraordinary results,” he concludes.
