Microsoft Brazil announces Innovation Hub, a space dedicated to customers seeking innovation and digital transformation

Microsoft Brazil announces the Innovation Hub, a physical space located at the company’s office in São Paulo, aimed at presenting the company’s innovative solutions developed by Microsoft and how to apply them to their businesses. The initiative is an evolution of the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) and offers workshops, hackathons, and practical demonstrations of the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, cognitive services, among others.

Currently, Microsoft has more than 40 hubs around the world to primarily serve companies with complex technology infrastructure and operations. Clients from various sectors in the country, such as Finance, Telecommunications, and Retail, have already visited the space and utilize technologies that were developed to meet specific demands of their operations.

To lead this structure, Microsoft Brazil announces Marcondes Farias as the leader of the Innovation Hub. With over 15 years in the company, Marcondes has held various leadership positions, such as project manager, business development director, and digital transformation director.

According to Marcondes, the Innovation Hub represents a window for exchanging experiences between companies and Microsoft. “The space goes beyond an innovation center; it is a place for clients, partners, and employees to stay updated on strategic initiatives and understand the breadth of our offerings,” he explains.

The space undergoes constant redesign to incorporate new technologies and provide immersive experiences to clients, such as the Innovation Factory and the use of AI in hackathons and architecture design sessions, for example. Cognitive service technologies like speech processing are also showcased in the hub.

The Innovation Hub aims to provide even more focus on the business demands of each client through a structure that allows demonstrating the practical results obtained from the use of these technologies. “We created a collaborative environment so that our partners can explore and implement emerging technologies that will drive their businesses forward,” says Marcondes.
