A Neogrid, technology and data intelligence ecosystem that develops solutions for consumer chain management, announces the launch of its Insights Panel, a new platform that brings together all studies, research, and analyses carried out by the company, in addition to offering a monthly overview of the main consumer purchasing behavior indicators in the Brazilian retail sector.
Now, with just a few clicks, it is possible to access insights that help understand consumer habits better, enabling the steering of sales strategies more agilely and optimizing profit margins. The site is structured into three sections, each highlighting a study: the Basket Vision offers monitoring of the Neogrid & FGV IBRE Consumption Basket, while the Supply Vision provides the traditional Out-of-Stock Index.
Meanwhile, the Shopper Vision encompasses data from Price Variations monitoring: Brazil & Regions and allows detailed consultation of average ticket, incidence, average number of items purchased per customer, and value fluctuations in 57 different product categories based on information collected by Horus, Neogrid’s solution responsible for analyzing over 1 billion invoices issued annually.
The portal also provides seasonal studies with consumption data on holidays, as well as the Retail Food Purchase Habits surveys, developed by Neogrid in partnership with Opinion Box. Another feature enables registration and direct receipt on WhatsApp of the main indicators on shopper behavior and out-of-stock data through NIA – Neogrid’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) that is a pioneer in Brazil with a focus on retail and industry.
“The launch of our Insights Portal is an important milestone for the market, as we now offer access to comprehensive analyses that assist in strategic decision-making and contribute to increased sales and margins for retail and industry,” says Nicolas Simone, Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) of Neogrid. “The new site offers, in a practical and centralized way, a clear and comprehensive view of the main market indicators and dynamics in the country.”
Neogrid currently holds the largest data network in the country’s consumer chain. The numbers are impressive: over 2.5 thousand retail networks and 30 thousand monitored POS, including more than 3 thousand municipalities, with the analysis of over 1 billion fiscal receipts. “This vast database ensures a broad and precise view of the Brazilian consumer goods market (CPGs),” adds Nicolas.
