Base reinforces live commerce strategies with TikTok Shop integration

The live commerce revolution has just arrived in Brazil with TikTok Shop. Base, a global platform for e-commerce integration and automation, announces full integration with TikTok’s new live commerce feature for all Brazilian customers starting today. Since the feature’s launch in September 2023, TikTok Shop has already surpassed the mark of 15 million active sellers worldwide. And the proposition is simple: combining viral content with a direct shopping experience — without leaving the app.

TikTok Shop is already operating in Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico, markets where Base is also present with integration. Numbers show that it is expected that TikTok Shop will generate around R$ 39 billion by 2028, representing a significant portion of the national e-commerce and establishing itself among the top marketplaces in the industry.

How TikTok Shop Works

The TikTok Shop is a set of features for brands, content creators, and retailers to sell their products directly from the feed and live streams on the social network, and can even create custom store pages.
