In another initiative in search of gender equality, Magalu launched, this Thursday, the “Luiza Business Women Sellers Community”, which offers exclusive benefits for women entrepreneurs in the company’s marketplace. The support network, with Luiza Helena Trajano as ambassador, will focus on the development of businesses created or managed by women.
“Women go to great lengths to handle all the tasks they have: home, children, jobs, and are still criticized when something goes wrong, when a child is not successful, for example. They usually feel overwhelmed and do not receive recognition for everything they do,” says Luiza Helena Trajano. “My dream is a country that has full-day school in every neighborhood, allowing the mother to work and dedicate herself in the same way as the father. Until that happens, I do what I can through Magalu.”
During the event, which brought together more than 800 women at Arena Magalu, the benefits offered to those who will be part of the community and want to sell on the company’s marketplace were presented. Group companies – KaBuM!, Netshoes, Época Cosméticos, Estante Virtual, and aiqfome – will also have special conditions for female entrepreneurs.
Magalu’s Benefits
All female entrepreneurs in the community will have access to a series of benefits, such as: watching a live stream per month with Luiza Helena Trajano; accessing all UniMagalu content – free and exclusive courses for sellers on the company’s platforms; participating in in-person and online events; joining the WhatsApp group for exchanges and interaction with other businesswomen; accessing the community platform; and using the ComSchool content track, as well as having two 95% discount coupons for the school’s business courses.
Women who are part of the community and are Magalu sellers will have: discounts on fees for six months or until they reach 300,000 reais in revenue; exemption from storage in fulfillment for one year and 12 months of free pickup; one month of zero copayment on Magalu Deliveries; 100% of the amount invested in the first and second months in Magalu Ads converted into credits in the third month (up to 3,000 reais); discount on receivables anticipation; daily payout for those with an account in MagaluPay; reputation from level 3 for six months; mentoring program; and exclusive area in the app.
The community will also have an acceleration program, aiming to boost Magalu entrepreneurs with training, mentoring, and investment to generate sustainable growth in the marketplace. The program will be divided into three phases – Onboarding and Training; Consolidation and Scale; and Commercial Maturity. It will be carried out every three months with a different group of entrepreneurs. The acceleration program has progressive 100% Magalu investment, individual follow-up and improvement plan, certification, and access to the VIP partner group.
Benefits in other group companies
At Netshoes, the benefits will be the same as those offered by Magalu, except for discounts on receivables anticipation. At Época Cosméticos, the benefits include fee reductions for six months; greater visibility in Época Ads; and exclusive area in the application. At Estante Virtual, they will have greater visibility in Estante Virtual Ads, and just like at KaBuM!, the businesswomen will have fee reductions for six months and greater visibility in Estante Virtual Ads.

The community will promote connection, facilitation, and recognition, through benefits for participants selling on the Magalu marketplace. The project idea arose after a company survey revealed that 36% of sellers on the marketplace are women-founded companies, and of the remaining 64%, 19% are managed by a woman. Currently, the company has over 360,000 partner retailers on the platform, meaning the network can directly reach at least 198,000 women.
