A HeronPay, Brazilian startup specializing in payment intelligence and management, is among the 32 startups that will be at the Fintech Lounge of Febraban Tech 2025, the main technology and innovation event in the financial sector of Latin America, taking place from June 10 to 12 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. With the theme “Accelerating the Financial Sector in the Intelligence Era”, the event brings together key banking leaders, fintechs, technology companies, and regulators to discuss the directions of digital transformation in the sector.
During the event, HeronPay will showcase its unique platform in the country based on payment intelligence, which integrates fraud prevention, expense management, real-time controls, combining payment credentials such as cards, PIX, digital wallets, tokens, and tags, offering bank customers more control and customization over their payment methods. The platform allows the customer to define specific rules for categories of businesses, such as pharmacies, gas stations, gambling establishments, restaurants, as well as time range, financial limit, geolocation, and planned future event, with the possibility of activation or modification by a click or voice command.
Targeting banks, fintechs, and financial institutions, HeronPay provides enriched and structured data even before transaction authorization, allowing for automated decisions, intelligent blocks, and proactive action against fraud, even in cases of misuse by third parties, such as family members or employees.
“HeronPay arrives to transform the relationship between customers and their banks by offering a layer of unprecedented control and security, focused on consumption behavior and acting before the transaction even takes place,” says Luanna Vargas Shirozono, co-founder of HeronPay and an expert in statistics and economics with international experience in the payments industry.
Easily integrated through modular APIs, the solution contributes to reducing operational costs, improving customer experience, and accelerating the launch of banking products in a holistic way, with more security and customization.
