Brazil’s E-commerce: 70% of LATAM Cargo’s deliveries in the first semester were made within 48 hours

LATAM Cargo, the cargo division of the LATAM Group, concluded the first half of 2025 with a significant logistical advance in Brazil: 70% of its e-commerce orders originating from Congonhas and Guarulhos airports (SP) were delivered within 48 hours to customers in the country. The number represents more than double the amount recorded in the same period of 2024.

The progress is the result of strategic investments by the company in infrastructure and technology. One of the main investments was a 50% expansion of the operational capacity at the hub in Guarulhos, which now has over 2,9 thousand m² dedicated specifically to the e-commerce segment. At the same time, LATAM Cargo launched a new product portfolio in the domestic market, including the easy service, focused on small packages with quick and home delivery in thousands of Brazilian cities.

In 2025, the company also entered into a partnership with Amazon for the delivery of products in 11 states in the North, Northeast, and Midwest regions.

“E-commerce demands increasing speed and efficiency. The combined use of our air network, which integrates cargo and passenger aircraft, together with structural investments, allows us to shorten distances and deliver an excellent logistical experience for companies and consumers,” says Otávio Meneguette, Director of LATAM Cargo Brazil.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IN BRAZIL ALSO RISES

Operational improvement has been directly perceived by LATAM Cargo customers in the domestic market in Brazil. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded a 25 percentage point increase in its NPS (Net Promoter Score), driven by advancements in service, communication, tracking, and on-time delivery.

GREATER CAPACITY TO CONNECT SÃO PAULO TO ALL OF BRAZIL

LATAM Cargo is currently the company with the most available capacity (in tons) to connect São Paulo to all regions of Brazil. Just between January and June 2025, it offered the possibility to ship up to 67.3 thousand tons of cargo in the bellies of LATAM passenger aircraft departing from Congonhas and Guarulhos airports – an 8% growth compared to the capacity offered in the same period of 2024.

Currently, the company serves 46 Brazilian airports and 4 cargo terminals in locations without regular flights, with home deliveries in over 1.8 thousand municipalities.

The company also leads the capacity offered to strategic destinations in the North and Northeast regions, such as Teresina (PI), João Pessoa (PB), Macapá (AP), and Rio Branco (AC) – the last two being exclusively served from the São Paulo capital.

NEW PORTFOLIO DRIVES E-COMMERCE

The new service portfolio launched in 2024 has been driving LATAM Cargo’s performance in the e-commerce segment in Brazil. The service, focused on small orders with fast delivery, recorded a 79% growth in emissions volume and a 6 percentage point improvement in the FAB indicator (Flown as Booked) in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year.

CONSOLIDATED LEADERSHIP IN BRAZIL AND ABROAD

LATAM Cargo has maintained its leadership in the domestic transportation of airborne cargo on passenger flights in Brazil since April 2025. According to the June 2025 statistics published by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac)the company reached a 37.3%* market share.

Its national logistics network covers 51 operational bases, as well as routes with cargo aircraft such as Guarulhos-Manaus, Viracopos-Manaus, and Guarulhos-Fortaleza-Manaus – the latter inaugurated in May 2025.

In the international market, LATAM Cargo also leads the air transportation of cargo to and from Brazil, operating in 23 international destinations through cargo flights and lower compartments of passenger aircraft.
