GFT Technologies announces Fabiana Piesigilli as the new COO in Brazil

 GFT Technologies, a global company specializing in AI-driven digital transformation, announces the arrival of Fabiana Piesigilli as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Brazil, starting from the beginning of August. With over 23 years of experience leading digital transformation projects and IT strategy in the financial sector in Brazil and abroad, Fabiana’s main goal is to combine AI-Centric and customer-oriented vision with the sustainable growth of the company, ensuring GFT in the country continues its expansion efficiently without sacrificing agility.

To achieve this, she intends to blend strategic vision, execution capabilities, focus on operational excellence, and closeness with teams and clients. “We are an AI-Centric company and have our own tools, such as Wynxx, which speeds up crucial stages of the software development cycle. In this highly competitive environment, we need to keep differentiating ourselves through continuous innovation and execution excellence,” she states.

Therefore, one of her challenges will be to continue leading the technological evolution of GFT locally, keeping the team updated and aligned with the real market and client needs. This vision is fully in line with the company’s strategic goal of becoming the world’s premier responsible AI-driven digital transformation partner. GFT in Brazil saw a 38% increase in staff and an 18% rise in revenue in 2024. The GFT’s global plan for the next five years is ambitious: aiming to grow from €871 million in revenue in 2024 to approximately €1.5 billion in 2029. “Soon, AI will become a commodity for both the consultancy market and clients. Therefore, it is essential to anticipate the changes and trends that are already underway,” she concludes.

Another important goal of GFT, which Fabiana will support, is to expand the company’s presence in other segments beyond the financial sector. Fabiana brings to GFT her extensive experience in major consulting firms and financial institutions such as C6 Bank, Accenture, and Everis (now NTT Data), leading IT architecture projects, core banking implementation, and business area transformation. Additionally, she has been on the ‘client side’ as a portfolio manager and consumer of technology services. It is this background that will help her deeply understand operational and client challenges to strategically operate in complex environments, focusing on concrete solutions and clear purpose.
