The digital insurer 88i announced a partnership with Posta Já, a freight transport management company and a leader in parcel deliveries across the country. The initiative will enable stores that sell their products through e-commerce and marketplaces to access 88i’s smart insurance solutions within the company’s apps.
The partnership is based on a combination of technology and innovation, allowing Posta Já’s customers to access protection quickly and securely within an environment they are already familiar with. Policy issuance and claims tracking occur digitally without the need for external action.
A key differentiator of 88i’s solution is the control over coverage activation and deactivation, limiting charges to the period when the goods are being transported. Payment is processed within the customer’s wallet on the platform, with data received via API.
“The traditional insurance model with inflexible coverage is less attractive for the online sales market and the current digital acceleration scenario. This collaboration will reduce bureaucracy, eliminate friction, and offer greater transparency to customers seeking to protect their shipments,” highlights Rodrigo Ventura, founder and CEO of 88i.
For Posta Já, the partnership with 88i reinforces its commitment to valuing innovation and agility by offering solutions that meet customer needs more efficiently. “The partnership brings more security, speed, and trust to Brazilian e-commerce. This collaboration enhances the value of our parcel delivery services to our customers,” says Henrique Pangracio, COO of Posta Já.
“The collaboration combines the expertise of both companies to facilitate digital claims management, focusing on providing a better user experience with the shortest reimbursement time. Both companies share the common goal of placing our customers at the center of decisions and adapting the business to their interests,” concludes Rodrigo Ventura.
